The mission of our Recreational ministry at South Burleson is to mentor students and equip their families to embrace a passion for glorifying God through physical fitness events and programs. We embrace the core values of Compassion, Respect, Obedience, Mentorship, Excellence, and Self-Discipline. We are commited to providing a safe and hospitable environment of physical fitness in which we model, teach, and develop lifestyles of Christ-like obedience, compassion, and respect (for ourselves and others) to individuals who desire to pursue excellence in physical training and discipline. Additionally, we are commited to challenge, inspire, and equip families of our Recreational Ministry programs and events by providing links to church programs that are specifically targeted to connect these families with church members and to establish strong godly homes.
